Jon Hodge

Jon Hodge has over 2 decades of experience in the construction industry.  He started his career at QE Construction, where he managed approximately 30 sales people and the office. Wanting to further his impact on the industry, he started Contracting Solutions, a general contracting company with a concentration of roofing. Contracting Solutions was a one stop shop for residential, commercial and multifamily construction.

Although the job diversity was great, he saw the value in focusing his time and energy on the multifamily market and joined groups like Apartment Association of Greater Memphis(AAGM) and Memphis Investors Group(MIG). He has served the greater Memphis area and grew the company at a 110% rate per year, for 5 years running.

He has been equipped with a unique perspective in the construction arena as he owns several multifamily properties and has worked on value add plays/CapEx work from upwards of $2M on a single project. He has worked on projects Nationally and throughout the southeast, always bringing his efficient management style to his work.

Born and raised in Memphis, TN, he graduated from Evangelical Christian High School and received his Bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of Memphis.

GENERAL MANAGER

Andy Bayles    

Andy Bayles transitioned into the multi-family construction world after leading several successful residential and commercial roofing companies to their best fiscal years.  He has organized the certification of a team of roofing specialists through a Texas State certified Property Adjuster’s School and executed mid-level management training programs on an international scale.  His goal is to develop a culture within Contracting Solutions that revolves around trust, communication and integrity.  He also has extensive experience with flat roof membranes, shingles, CapEx projects and renovations to compliment the skills and experience of his team members.  One of his proudest accomplishments was managing the complete project of the only 30 year No Dollar Limit Warranty, membrane installation in the mid-south on an iconic downtown Memphis high rise.

PROJECT MANAGERS

Jim Wadlington

Jim Wadlington grew up in Memphis and spent his formative years around his father’s 40 year architecture business and on construction sites.  He’s been a family friend of the Hodges’ for years and after working in the paper industry for 32 years, he was introduced to the multi-family construction business by Jon Hodge.  He’s been with Contracting Solutions for over 4 years and his first big project was managing a 400,000 SF siding job on 92 buildings in Kansas City, Missouri.  He also has been involved with a number of insurance jobs in the multi-family and residential world.  His specialties include large scale burnouts, siding, water damage, sloped roofing and CapEx projects.

 

Sean Moore

Sean Moore is a graduate of Christian Brothers University with a degree in Accounting.  He has managed many successful jobs as a project manager.  One of his memorable jobs was a remodel on the third floor of a downtown apartment building located just off the Mississippi river. The space was an old rundown apartment and office that was occupied by an on-site maintenance staff member.  The end result was a beautiful activity room with a kitchen, theater and a game room.   He has been working for Contracting Solutions for 2 years looks forward to many more memorable jobs.



Kevin Whitehead

Kevin Whitehead began working in construction immediately after graduating high school.  He has more than 10 years’ experience working directly in construction from framing, shingle installation, masonry, siding, plumbing and HVAC work.  He also graduated from a Texas State certified Property Adjuster’s School and is a 4 G certified welder.  He’s handled large scale insurance claims and multiple insurance appraisals for clients.  Recently, he successfully managed the installation of 1,400 SQs of shingles on a property and completed the job in 30 days.
